All career changes are hard, but the transition from military to civilian is especially tough. Veterans face a variety of barriers to successfully launching a rewarding second career, like having a lack of confidence that the hard-won military skills can apply in the civilian workplace. The curriculum at FourBlock addresses this challenge, and many others, over the course of a variety of in-person and virtual sessions. I learned how to translate my military experience into marketable skills, ‘pitch’ myself with confidence, network efficiently, and interview effectively. I am fortunate to have made the successful transition into the civilian workforce and I am grateful for my mentors and peers at FourBlock. I recommend FourBlock to every transitioning service member I run into.
